The Software QA Engineer works as part of the Software delivery Organization in Software Engineering Team, and under the direction of the Software QA Manager. The Software QA Engineer is responsible for developing and executing test plans that verify the quality and technical performance of Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) Software and the Integration with Third Party systems, Host systems and controls functionality between FortnaWES and the actual material handling equipment following Fortna Agile Scrum Process.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Working as part of a Software Engineering Scrum team that includes Scrum Master, Dev Lead, Software Development engineers.Reviewing project documents such as Software Specification Scope (SSS), Technical Design Documents, Product Release documents to be used as the basis to determine Testing objectives and develop test plans and test cases that meet established quality assurance standards.Executing Functional, System/e2e, Integration and release regression testing aligning with established Agile scrum methodologies and Timeline.Maintaining Test environments including ownership of Executing Deployments, Master Data creation for system testing.Documenting all issues found during testing in detail. Communicate with appropriate members of Scrum team to track issues to resolution. Assist the QA Manager in the creation of test project status reports and metrics (e.g., Test Dashboard).Developing Interface testing plans to validate system interfaces meet Mapping specifications.Maintaining automated regression suites and/or smoke test suites to be reused during phased go-live and for software change mods.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.3+ years of a combination of experience in Quality Assurance verifying Systems Integration, web services testing and client server-based application testing.Experience developing test plans, leading test events, and preparing test reports.Experience working with Agile Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.Experience working with project & task management, and test management software, such as TPO, JIRA, qTest or similar systems.Experience working with Java Test Automation platforms and Oracle/SQL experience.Ability to work in a high-paced, highly dynamic environment.Experience troubleshooting from system log files.Desire to collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn new technical skills.Available for occasional domestic and international travel.DESIRED QUALIFICATION:

Experience with Supply Chain Software Products such as WES, WMS, WCS.Experience with Unix utilities.Previous Java programming experience.Experience with test automation tools such as Serenity, JMeter and use of Jenkins and Grafana plug ins for Measuring key performance Indicators.The base salary range for this role is $73,900 to $110,800. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.This job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
