Position ProfileWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Back-End Web Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of back-end technologies, architecture, and best practices, coupled with a passion for creating scalable, robust, and high-performance web applications. As a Senior Back-End Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components that power our web applications, contributing to the overall success of our products.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to design and implement scalable and efficient back-end solutions that align with project goals and business requirements.Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex web applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and maintainability.Design and implement APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party services, prioritizing usability and robustness.Optimize applications for speed and scalability, taking into consideration factors such as database design, caching, and server-side performance.Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and bugs in the back-end code, providing efficient solutions to improve application stability and performance.Mentor and guide junior developers, providing code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices to promote skill development within the team.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in back-end development, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications in production environments.Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-launch support.

Qualifications And SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Proven track record of at least 7 years working as a back-end web developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and contributions.Extensive experience with developing back-end applications using PHP, preferably within the Laravel framework.Proficiency in designing and optimizing relational databases using MySQL and Redis.In-depth knowledge of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices.Experience working with and in Linux environments.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or AWS, and the ability to deploy and manage applications in these environments.Solid understanding of Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward finding innovative solutions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring and guiding junior developers.

Preferred QualificationsExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.Experience with Pest PHP testing framework.Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Vue.js, or React, Angular) to facilitate collaboration with front-end teams.
