About The Position

Columbia Sportswear Financial Planning and Analysis teams drive value by helping create sustainable, profitable growth through robust business partnership and delivering insightful analysis to support strategic decision making. As the Senior Financial Analyst – Supply Chain, you’ll support Columbia Sportswear Company’s global supply chain function, providing strategic and financial support to drive effective, efficient, and informed operations. This person will be part of the Global Supply Chain FP&A team, working together to support the executive leadership of the supply chain function. You will primarily focus on supporting Distribution and Logistics, but you will also support Sourcing & Manufacturing as well as OMNI Planning and Fulfillment functions driving all aspects of financial planning (long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting) and analysis for these divisions, including supporting major projects. This position will play a critical role in helping the global supply chain team transform its operations and build a new operating model that enables higher levels of service to our customers.

How You’ll Make a Difference

Influence, enable and coach your business partners to make sound business decisionsLead the development and compilation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, as well as forecast to actual variances analysis for the distribution centersActively engage in the development of three-year, strategic, and long-range financial plans for the distribution centersCreate insightful and accurate reporting tools, processes, and ad hoc analyses with a focus on clear storytelling, action-oriented output, and an ongoing drive for continuous improvement

YOU HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, related field, or equivalent6+ years total experience focused on financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis with demonstrated organizational and communication abilitiesPreferred 3+ years experience with financial analysis for supply chain function, ideally with experience with Distribution and Logistics/Transportation operationsAdvanced problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential and/or existing financial issues, evaluate available options and recommend corrective actionDemonstrated ability to create effective excel models and presentationsExperience with visual analytics tools, such as Power BI or Tableau, and prior experience with enterprise-level planning systems such as IBM Cognos TM1
