We are looking for innovative and collaborative software engineers to design and build Workday's newest SaaS offering - Workday Student. You will join a dynamic team of developers who are reimagining the student experience, transforming the way colleges and universities enable their students for success.After participating in our technology boot camp, you will dive immediately into building solutions using the most modern technologies, providing an unparalleled level of agility, ease-of-use, and integration capability.Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Product Manager and QA counterparts on the functional design and analysis of requirements.Design and develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment.Create and maintain robust, efficient, and maintainable code using an object-oriented framework and class modeling.Build and maintain reliable automated tests.Fix customer-reported issues.Mentor and learn from other team members through pair programming, code reviews, knowledge exchange, hackathons, etc.About You
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of object-oriented design and development experience in an OO language (such as Java, Python, C#, C++, etc.).Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.Other Qualifications
Experience designing and developing business applications.Must be a collaborative teammate with good verbal and written communication skills.Strong working knowledge of design and analysis of software for performance.Experience with UML, SaaS, XML, and Integration technologies is a plus.You think the key to good object-oriented development is strong design patterns.You believe applications should be usable and configurable.Workday Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.Primary Location: USA.GA.AtlantaPrimary Location Base Pay Range: $124,000 USD - $186,000 USDAdditional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $117,800 USD - $210,000 USDOur Approach to Flexible Work
