We are currently in search of a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic Sales team. This role is pivotal in the early stages of our growth strategy, responsible for generating and nurturing leads that fuel XP Health's sales pipeline and helps to establish our small business sales team closing deals with opportunities under 250 lives.

As a BDR, you will need to wield a versatile skill set and adapt to various tasks to ensure success. The ideal candidate possesses an unwavering drive to excel and actively contribute, even in the face of ever-changing market dynamics and priorities.

Within the Sales function, you will find abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth, honing your expertise in prospecting, lead generation, and client engagement. You'll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, collaborating on strategies that drive impact and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities to support our growth goals.Manage both inbound leads and conduct proactive outbound prospecting efforts, focusing on specific regions or verticals to maximize impact.Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, including effectively closing deals and achieving assigned sales targets.Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams.Drive activities that expand our sales pipeline coverage, working to increase the volume of qualified leads.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience as a BDR or in a related role.Ability to manage the entire sales cycle, including effectively closing deals.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must. The ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner is essential.Proficiency in Salesforce is crucial for managing and tracking leads effectively.The ability to learn quickly when facing new situations through structure and experimentation.The ability to understand the customer deeply, to gain insight and identify opportunities.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Nice-to-have:Familiarity with sales enablement tools like Amplemarket, Judy Diamond, and Gong.Experience working at an early-stage startup.Industry-related experience (e.g., Tech, Insuretech, healthtech, etc.). While experience in the healthcare benefits industry is not required, a passion for learning and understanding the domain is highly valued!Bachelor's Degree.
