The candidate is expected to participate in the supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology. The division has also established the first of its kind Advanced Endoscopy fellowship and has successfully trained five fellows. The Voelker Clinical Research Center provides assistance for interested faculty who wish to pursue clinical research.Outpatient clinical care for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.Inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.General pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures)Professional Background: Pediatric GastroenterologistBC/BEMust be licensed in the state of Texas or be eligible to be licensed
