Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst is the main liaison between a high-profile client and our Merkle Technology Teams. This is a visible position, as you will elicit and guide requirements and initiatives at multiple levels of detail for our Merkle clients. You are entrusted with documenting requirements and acceptance criteria for a project. You will additionally support our clients post-production with program facilitation and issue research. You will report to the Client Services Director. This is a remote role.

ResponsibilitiesYou will lead discovery sessions with client stakeholders and subject matter experts as a means to elicit solution change requirements, both business and functional.You will perform analysis of new data for inclusion in a marketing database, and ad-hoc analysis in the database to support the requirements process.You will take primary ownership for accurate requirements specifications and acceptance criteria for Solution updates and maintenance.You will take direction from Solution Management regarding schedule, scope, and cost tradeoffs.You will lead or assist the Quality Assurance discipline on small projects to complete a test plan, which will include internal testing and user acceptance testing.You will update and maintain solution documentation including Requirements, Feed Layouts and email types and variables.You will be the Functional POC for the solution, working through data and design questions/issues as they arise.You will maintain the solution in production, working with end-users, and facilitating change requests with the broader team using a defined change management process.

QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.3+ years experience eliciting, defining, analyzing and documenting detailed specifications for IT solution delivery with a significant database component or database focus.3+ years experience as a business analyst with full lifecycle software implementations (SDLC) involving large databases.Experience drafting test plans and test cases.Experience completing test cases, documenting, and presenting results for client approval.Experienced with Word and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).SQL experience to conduct data analysis and quality assurance.Experience using MS Teams, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, JIRA.

Additional InformationThe anticipated base salary range for this position is $68,000 - $110,400. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.

Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. The company's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
