Amica Mutual Insurance Company seeks Principal Data Engineer in Lincoln, RI.
Duties:
Evangelizing effective data management practices and promoting better understanding of data and analytics.Defining, developing, and executing strategies to implement and enhance an enterprise data ecosystem that supports organizational goals.Identifying data-driven business opportunities and recommending analytic projects to leaders.Interfacing with and gathering requirements from key business stakeholders, IT experts and subject-matter experts to plan and deliver superior analytics and data science solutions that drive business value.Collaborating with data scientists, data analysts and other data consumers on analytical solutions and models they've developed to optimize them for data quality, security and governance and deploy them to production.Demonstrating strong business acumen and understanding of insurance concepts.Prioritizing, scoping and managing data engineering projects and the corresponding key performance indicators (KPIs) for success.
Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements:
Position Requires Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations.
