OverviewTransaction Network Services (TNS), a subsidiary of Koch Industries, is seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our AI Labs. This role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing statistical and deep learning models, and implementing advanced machine learning solutions. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to extract insights from data and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:Apply statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to solve international business problems.Develop, train, and deploy predictive models using current machine learning frameworks and tools.Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis to discover patterns and trends.Collaborate with domain experts and stakeholders to interpret business requirements and deliver analytical solutions.Use cloud engineering principles to create and deploy scalable AI solutions in cloud environments.Work with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production environments.Implement MLOps practices to facilitate model training, deployment, and monitoring.Communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and visual presentations.For this role, we anticipate paying $135,000 - $165,000 annually. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. Qualifications:Education/Experience:Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.5+ years of professional experience in a data science role, with an emphasis on writing production grade code.Experience handling large datasets with attention to data privacy and security.Skills in mathematical programming and optimization.Programming:Proficiency in Python and familiarity with key data science and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Experience with MLOps practices and tools such as Docker, AWS (Amazon Web Services) EMR, or AWS Sagemaker.Experience in developing scalable data architectures in cloud settings.Good software engineering foundation.
