You will be required to stay up to date with emerging trends in the industry and leverage your expertise to enhance pre-trained Gen AI models through the application of machine learning and deep learning solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for AI/ML integration, and create innovative solutions to complex problems.ResponsibilitiesDesign and development of AI/ML driven applications, algorithms, and models.Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.Outstanding problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to prototype and implement complex AI solutions.Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements, industry trends and best practices in AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and tools.Evaluate and select appropriate AI/ML techniques and models based on project requirements.Build robust and scalable AI/ML systems that can handle large data volumes and real-time processing.Optimize and fine-tune models for performance and accuracy.Develop and maintain documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and code documentation.Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and support.Assist leaders in developing compelling business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and value propositions for new data science and analytics projects. Articulate this work to internal stakeholders and executive leadership and demonstrate the impact of data-driven insights on the organization's goals.Craft compelling narratives and visually appealing content to engage and inform senior executives on strategic initiatives, progress, achievements, and key metrics of data science and analytics projects.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience developing proven AI-driven applications.5+ years of experience using machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and natural language processing and generative AI techniques with proven track record of end-to-end building and deploying advanced applications, including knowledge of model serialization and deserialization.5+ years of experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.5+ years of experience and proficiency in working with large datasets and distributed computing platforms.1+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform services like Vertex AI and Kubeflow or comparable services like Airflow, Argo, etc.1+ years of experience with building Machine Learning models and pipelines related to Search, Retrieval and Ranking.1+ years of experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for deploying AI solutions.Preferred QualificationsRetail Industry experience would be desired.Experience with computer vision, speech recognition, or reinforcement learning.Knowledge of data privacy and security considerations in AI development.Expertise in generative AI techniques, including generative adversarial networks (GANs), variational autoencoders (VAEs), or similar architectures.Solid understanding of reinforcement learning algorithms and their applications.Experience in training and fine-tuning deep learning models for various tasks, including image generation, text generation, or music generation.Familiarity with transfer learning and domain adaptation techniques.Proficiency in working with large-scale datasets and implementing distributed training strategies.Proficiency in integrating low-code and no-code solutions with custom code and external systems through APIs and connectors.Understanding of graph neural networks (GNNs) and their applications in recommendation systems or graph analysis.Familiarity with causal inference methods and counterfactual reasoning in machine learning.Experience with time series analysis and forecasting using ML techniques.Knowledge of Bayesian machine learning and probabilistic programming frameworks.Proficiency in deploying ML models in production environments, including containerization and serving frameworks.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.PhD/master’s in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$124,372.50 - $247,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
