We are looking for a highly energetic and collaborative Senior Java Engineer for a 12-month engagement.
Responsibilities:Designing and implementing Java-based applications.Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.Defining application objectives and functionality.Aligning application design with business goals.Developing and testing software.Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.Producing detailed design documentation.Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.Developing multimedia applications.Developing documentation to assist users.Ensuring continuous professional self-development.
Experience Level:12+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot.6+ years of hands-on experience with Kafka.Good exposure to microservices and Kubernetes, Docker.Experience in large systems or distributed systems.Good exposure to cloud technologies.Background in Scrum/Agile development methodologies.Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following:GitAtlassian products - Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence etc.Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS.
