We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong experience with Data Extraction, Data Manipulation, and Data Visualization. Must have strong experience with SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel formulas and dashboards. Nice to have experience with Informatica, Python, and Tableau.Responsibilities:
Explore, learn, and understand large data models to catalog assets, create documentation, and build reports.Understand business processes and commercial implications to effectively analyze large datasets and derive meaningful insights from complex segmentation.Create SQL queries to segment, manipulate, and format data.Translate business requirements to technical criteria for data analysis.Visualize data and present findings using Power BI.Database maintenance, segmentation, and maintain data integrity.Identify, organize, and catalog data assets.Use Power BI and Microsoft Excel to build reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present insights from the data.Create schema modeling diagrams and analyze datasets to find marketing insights.Develop and present reports based on marketing and segmentation strategy.Build automations to ingest, transfer, move, upload, and manipulate data.Requirements:
5+ years of experience working as a Functional Business Analyst.Advanced SQL query development proficiency.5+ years of experience working as a Data Analyst.Power BI or any other reporting tools experience.3+ years of MS Excel, creating Excel formulas and pivot tables.Report object development skills.Experience with Python, Informatica, and/or Tableau is a plus.Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.Electric Utility business experience is a plus.What You Know (Must Have)
Advanced SQL.Intermediate Microsoft Excel.Power BI.Experience with massive enterprise cloud data warehouse.Building reports and dashboards.
