They are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to support our clients' tax-related needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity for immediate client interaction and involvement in various tax-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, compliance, and client communication.Key Responsibilities
Tax Preparation: Prepare and review individual and business tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings. You will work in industries such as Real Estate, Distribution, Non-For-Profit, Manufacturing, and Services.Client Interaction: Build strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, answering tax-related questions, and offering tax planning advice.Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify potential tax-saving opportunities for clients and provide recommendations.Tax Research: Conduct tax research as needed to address complex tax issues and provide guidance to clients.Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation for clients.Client Education: Educate clients on tax-related matters and help them make informed financial decisions.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Two plus years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a CPA firm or tax advisory role.Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Benefits
