Accountant- Application Support Specialist

Grain Millers in Eden Prairie is seeking an Accounting Systems Support Specialist (actual title is Application Support Specialist)!Who We Are.Grain Millers, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and merchandiser of whole grain ingredients utilized in food products served around the world. We have supplied food and dairy ingredients to virtually every large food company in the world for over 37 years. Our Eden Prairie, MN headquarters is the hub of our IT and Support infrastructure.Why we need you.Because of our growth, we are looking for a talented Application Support Specialist to join our team. This position maintains and troubleshoots our internal enterprise applications, including Dynamics SL, WithoutWire Inventory Management software, Grain Smart, and Uniwin. Experience with these applications is preferred, but not required.Who You'll Be Working With.Along with the support team, you'll be assisting our internal users to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. Your role is to be their dependable ally, tackling their questions, resolving any issues in our applications, and ensuring they're fully equipped to be successful.Who You Are.As the liaison between our internal users and the applications, you embody efficiency, expertise, and support. Your adept problem-solving skills enable you to swiftly troubleshoot and resolve issues within our application systems. You have meticulous attention to detail that extends to the development and review of process and procedure documents.Act as a single point of contact to internal users for all questions regarding usage of our internal enterprise applications.Answer user questions, troubleshoot, and resolve problems in our accounting application system.Train employees in the proper use of the programs and specific applications.Record, develop and review process and procedure documents for user training.Travel to all plant locations on a periodic basis.RequirementsAssociates/bachelor's degree in business or accounting, related field or commensurate experience.3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications; experience supporting Dynamics SL or other Financial Application preferred.Previous accounting experience or experience supporting the accounting function.Working knowledge of relational database structures (SQL) a plus.Ability to absorb and apply knowledge of new applications.Ability to teach and train effectively.Excellent communication and planning skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately.Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required.What We Offer.Grain Millers, Inc. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.
