Job Description:
As a Night Shift X-ray technician, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients during the night shift. You will operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
Conducting X-ray examinations following prescribed protocols and procedures.
Positioning patients correctly and providing clear instructions to obtain the necessary images.
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality of medical information.
Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and communicate findings.
Monitoring equipment functionality and performing routine maintenance as needed.
Adhering to all safety standards and protocols to minimize radiation exposure risks for patients and staff.
Requirements:
Valid certification or license as an X-ray technician.
Proven experience working as an X-ray technician, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and related imaging software.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
