The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a Manager of Risk ManagementPosition SummaryThe Manager of Risk Management is responsible for the clinical identification, risk evaluation, and coordination of corrective actions related to risk issues and creating methods to avoid, eliminate, and or reduce risk situations associated with the provision of patient care and services. Leads improvement of clinical outcomes through program evaluation and monitoring programs; ensures compliance with quality standards; implements tools for programs & service evaluation. This position provides training and compliance support to the facility by integrating the training function with the Performance Improvement process.The Vines Hospital , located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults in a secure and private setting. Our services for individuals include specialty programs for adults and adolescents. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. RequirementsBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work or related behavioral health field required. Master's degree is preferred.Three (3) years experience in risk management with hands on working knowledge of quality improvement activities within an acute psychiatric treatment setting or hospital and with knowledge of regulatory compliance preferred.Certified in Florida as a Certified Health Care Risk Manager or certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.Knowledge of hospital operations, risk identification, assessment and reduction and claims management. A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, AHCA and state and Federal standards and regulations including Patient Rights standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities and hospitals. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Organizational skills and ability to interact with and coordinate all levels of staff.Work is sedentary, sitting part of the day, some standing and walking.
