About Cognizant’s Digital Engineering Practice:At Cognizant Digital Engineering, small cross-functional teams comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, DevOps Engineers, and a Big Data analyst build higher quality software faster than siloed individuals working independently. Small, nimble engineering teams build collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high-quality deliverables. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies. Cognizant is seeking an experienced Architect with 8-10 years of expertise specializing in Terraform AWS DevOps and Automation among other key skills. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust architecture within the Payments domain leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities:Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions using Terraform and AWS DevOps practices.Drive automation processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.Develop and manage containerized environments ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.Implement and maintain API Gateways and Container Registries to support microservices architecture.Utilize Docker for containerization ensuring lightweight, portable, and self-sufficient containers.Oversee the security aspects of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud, integrating DevSecOps practices to safeguard applications.Champion DevOps concepts and tools, fostering a culture of continuous integration and delivery with tools like Jenkins and GitHub.Manage Apigee API Management to design secure and scalable API programs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural designs align with business objectives.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, particularly in cloud storage, serverless architectures, and network security to recommend and implement improvements.Qualifications:Required Skills:TerraformAWSDevOps AutomationDevOps Container environment set-upAPI GatewayContainer RegistryDockerGoogle Cloud PlatformSecurityDevSecOpsDevOps ConceptsDevOps ToolsApigeeAPI ManagementGitHubJenkinsNice to have skills:MicroservicesPrometheusGrafanaServerless Cloud StorageSRENetworkWork Authorization:Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)
Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $[52,000 – 146,600] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits:
