The Data team at Paxos includes Data Infrastructure, Data Engineering and Data Analytics and we focus on use cases ranging from product analytics to business intelligence and operational automation.
Data is the lifeblood of any financial services based organization. We are building a data platform that is trusted and reliable to deliver accurate measurement and insights about our products and business, inform our strategy, deliver reporting to clients and regulators, enable the automation of operational processes and drive cost savings and revenue opportunities.About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who will partner with the rest of the team, stakeholders and our broader engineering team to drive measurement and analytics across a variety of use cases ranging from Product Analytics to Compliance, Finance, etc. You will be a key advisor to your partners while enabling through data. You will drive optimization and automation of our business intelligence use cases (e.g. Finance, Compliance, Operations, Growth), helping the organization scale.What You’ll Do
Improve Paxos’s products and decision-making by crafting, growing and optimizing our data and data architecture.Partner with PM, Engineering, business leaders (Finance, Ops, Growth, Compliance) and the rest of the data org to understand data needs.Define the measurement strategy for one or more of our products.Optimize and automate existing processes.Develop state of the art data solutions ranging from analysis to automated processes to tools that address data needs in an efficient and scalable way.Educate your partners by using your data and analytics experience to ‘see what’s missing’ and how to drive better decision making through data.Build data expertise for your areas and become the go-to person for those domains.Become an advocate for data within Paxos by improving the integration of data in the product development life cycle and becoming an advisor to product and business leaders within the company.About You
7+ years of experience with:
Ability to translate business problems and requirements into data problems and communicate results back to non-technical audiences.Performing data analysis. Fintech and/or financial markets experience preferred.Expertise in SQL.Experience designing, building, automating, maintaining dashboards in BI/Visualization software (e.g. Looker/Tableau/Sisense).Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous problems to solve.Python/R/Scripting languages, predictive analytics methodologies and packages, experimentation & statistical analysis, metric design & data modeling.Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience with blockchain data (transactions, balances, etc).Pay And Benefits
Paxos offers a competitive total compensation and benefits package, including equity. Actual salary within that range is dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
Expected range for the salary component for candidates located within the United States is:
$157,500—$185,500 USD.
