Cox Communications is looking for a skilled Data Analyst II who is proficient in reporting, analysis, and metrics and has a solid understanding of advanced analytical methodologies. In this role, you will be responsible for extensively analyzing data sets, extracting meaningful insights, and effectively communicating your findings to the organizational stakeholders. You will be assigned to large-scale, complex projects and exercise independent decision-making while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop impactful solutions that drive operational success. As a Data Analyst II supporting our Fulfillment Operations Organization, you will provide analytical support and strategic guidance for various stakeholders and high-profile initiatives. Using critical thinking, problem-solving skills, data visualization techniques, and analytical expertise, you will provide accurate responses and concise recommendations to pivotal business inquiries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCollaborate with business partners and stakeholders across various products, businesses, and organizational sectors to comprehend primary strategies, objectives, and priorities, bridging these goals with underlying data and delivering insight-driven analyses.Translate intricate data analyses into clear, actionable findings, offering pertinent solutions and recommendations.Effectively utilize a variety of tools, techniques, and processes, such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, SOQL, and other data mining, preparation, and visualization tools, for data gathering, reporting, and analysis.Design, develop, implement, and maintain diverse dashboards and reports to support multiple client groups.Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies in analytical processes or cross-functional methods.Analyze current and historical performance, conduct variance analyses of critical metrics, and detect trends.Develop scenario models to aid complex decision-making and forecast outcomes for the business.Seek feedback and opportunities for continuous learning to enhance knowledge and capabilities in relevant data analytics principles, methods, and tools required for operational analysis.Adhere to established timelines and tasks during each sprint cycle, proactively communicating any risks, issues, or challenges in meeting deliverables.Serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics, supporting ongoing customer operations and new projects and programs involving key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:MinimumBS/BA in related discipline (e.g. reporting, statistics, data modeling, data analytics, data visualization, data interpretation); and 2 years of experience in related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree in a related discipline; or 6 years of experience in a related field.Advanced knowledge of developing and curating large data sets using a variety of tools/techniques (e.g., SQL, SOQL, Tableau Prep Builder, etc.).Skilled to advanced knowledge building highly visual interactive dashboards in Tableau.Successful candidates must know how to intuitively assimilate, manipulate, and visualize large quantities of data in a visually appealing and easily consumable manner.Demonstrated experience working directly with leadership and supporting multiple stakeholders.Skilled analytic and diagnostic skills utilizing a data-driven and metrics-driven approach.Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic, and hybrid environment.Proven ability to work in a cross-organizational team environment collaborating with the business leads on key analytical deliverables.

PreferredPrior experience with data analytics in a contact center environment, specifically working with voice, chat, & digital data.Skilled to advanced knowledge building highly visual interactive dashboards in CRM Analytics (Salesforce).Prior operations and analytics experience with Cox Communications.Experience in Python programming language to assist in data analysis and automation tasks.

Compensation:Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
