Together we are building a community of members that embraces healthcare as a proactive part of their lifestyle.Job SummaryThe Senior Accountant functions as a key contributor within the Accounting team and plays a key role in general accounting functions.Job ResponsibilitiesPrepares general ledger entries into the Netsuite accounting system for areas such as Cash, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Allocations and AccrualsPrepares and reconciles monthly balance sheet accounts, and analyzes general ledger account activity in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company accounting policiesAssists with month end close fluxes for both balance sheet and income statementAssists with external audits by providing necessary support and documentationPrepares and assists with annual property tax filings and sales tax filingsAnswers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataContinuously assess and improves on internal controls and various accounting processesPerforms ad hoc analyses and assists with projectsPerforms other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBS degree in Accounting or related field3+ years of accounting experienceKnowledge of accounting principlesProficiency in MS Office, including intermediate to expert Excel skillsPreferred QualificationsNetsuite Experience is a plusAttention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze and reconcile figuresProficiency in MS Office, including intermediate to expert Excel skillsPhysical Job RequirementsMay require standing, walking and sitting for extended amounts of time.Manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordinationIncludes full range of body motion.Requires corrected vision, hearing and speech within normal ranges. Must be able to effectively communicate with team members.The base pay range for this position is $70,861.00 to $81,490.00 per year. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience.
