Our expert teams of physicists, engineers, data scientists and problem-solvers work together with the world's leading technology providers to accelerate the delivery of tomorrow's electronic devices.Group/DivisionThe Legal Compliance Organization (LCO) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA and second headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI provides legal guidance to further KLA's strategic objectives and protect and preserve the legal, ethical and financial integrity and reputation of the Company.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsKLA's Ethics & Legal Compliance team is seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Ethics & Compliance Counsel, reporting directly to KLA's Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), in either KLA's Ann Arbor, Michigan or Milpitas, California offices. In this position, the qualified candidate will have responsibility in overseeing KLA's worldwide antitrust compliance program, assist with cybersecurity and information governance legal compliance issues and investigations, and be responsible for KLA's legal risk assessment and compliance effectiveness program.Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as one of the lead Ethics & Compliance counsels directly reporting to KLA's Chief Compliance Officer, assisting the CCO across various areas to enhance and maintain KLA's ethics & compliance programs;Primary responsibility for KLA's worldwide antitrust compliance program, working with the KLA commercial legal team and the business;Conduct periodic worldwide risk and compliance program assessments;Assist with addressing cybersecurity legal, governance and investigation issues;Maintain KLA's international lobbying compliance program;Conduct internal investigations, develop and deliver training, and manage strategic projects for the Ethics & Legal Compliance group.Minimum QualificationsQualified attorney licensed to practice law in the United States, preferably in Michigan and/or California.At least 8 years of experience as an ethics & compliance professional at a U.S. multinational company or similar experience at a top law firm.Expert antitrust compliance counseling experience and knowledge of international antitrust laws.Expert knowledge of the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines as it relates to effective corporate compliance programs.Experience addressing cybersecurity and information governance legal issues.Experience working with government regulators to address compliance issues.Substantial experience conducting ethics & compliance monitoring activities.Highly developed interpersonal skills.Strong and independent demeanor.Excellent oral and written communication skills.The company offers a competitive total rewards package including medical, dental, vision, life, and other benefits, 401(K) with company matching, employee stock purchase program (ESPP), tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.KLA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
