Seattle or Bellevue, WA, San Francisco, CA or Atlanta, GALooking for Lead engineers for the ISV Platform team to help us build the future of the new Salesforce Code Analyzer. Our team is working on building a very powerful security scanner for all the packages that are developed on Salesforce Platform and sold on AppExchange. We want you to be part of this success story.The Salesforce Code Analyzer is an open-source CLI plugin that is a one-stop shop for ensuring the applications that our Partners develop are secure, performant, and well-architected. We use industry-popular static analysis tools like PMD, ESLint, RetireJS, etc., to scan Apex, VF, and LWC. Along with other open-source tools, we have our own Salesforce Graph Engine that performs Control Flow Analysis of Apex. You can learn more about the product in our public documentation.About You:Fluent in a range of modern web technologies, including:JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.jsJava/C#/ApexKnowledgeable in Salesforce Package Development, with experience in Apex, LWC, Aura, and Declarative DevelopmentA troubleshooting and debugging maestro, meticulous in approachProficient in API development, with a grasp on OpenAPI and RESTful design principlesExperience in extending Visual Studio Code with custom extensionsA foundational understanding of SCM tools such as GitComprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle in an agile environmentAdept in full-stack development, spanning from design to backend functionalitiesExperience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnitYou know what good, well-factored code looks like. You understand the trade-offs of various approaches to solving a problem and can verbalize and discuss those decisionsYou are a strong communicator who can explain complex technical concepts in simple languageKnowledge of supporting online services such as GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket a plusExpectations:Pivoting to, or developing within, a Service Oriented ArchitectureOwnership of the whole software development lifecycle and the service when it is in productionEngage collaboratively with Product Managers, Design Team, Lead Engineers, and Scrum MastersFamiliarity with CI/CD approachesExhibit excellence in debugging, design specifications, and industry best practicesExperience supporting and troubleshooting software in productionExcellent communication skills and a strong team playerUnderstanding of how to balance speed of delivery with maintainabilityA related technical degree requiredCompensation:For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,500 to $280,200.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $188,200 to $305,600.
