This role will define and own a product strategy for a team focused on building tools such as screeners, advanced charts, and other analytical features that help investors and traders evaluate investment opportunities. You’ll join a Yahoo Finance team that, alongside new leadership, is revitalizing this financial OG and positioning it for the future.
The Role:Develop a vision and product strategy for our newly formed team focused on building tools for investors and traders.Prioritize and manage a roadmap against high-impact initiatives, including new tools and features, to deliver a best-in-class user experience.Support product delivery from ideation through launch: identify the requirements, solve user problems, and ensure on-time delivery with high quality.Collaborate closely across different stakeholders to identify opportunities as well as influence the roadmaps of other teams to accelerate your goals.Define and measure the impact of your work through outcomes and metrics.Represent your Product through communication with leadership and stakeholders about impact, progress, and blockers.
About You:Location Requirement: Mountain View or surrounding areas - hybrid work environment5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of creating engaging tools and features for investors and traders.You understand how to translate ideas into requirements across stakeholders.You are comfortable tackling complex projects, including technical ones.You are a data-driven and analytical Product Manager that thrives in defining hypothesis-driven experimentation.You enjoy collaborating and communicating across different audiences.You are driven to succeed with a high comfort level with ambiguity and fluidity.You are comfortable managing a range of projects, managing time and scope appropriately.The right candidate will possess a mixture of quantitative chops and creative intuition– someone who loves digging into the data to drive insights combined with excellent product sense to deliver scalable, consistent value to our users.Your Agile software development experience makes you a credible leader and informs your judgment regarding timelines, scope, quality, priorities, and tradeoffs.You inspire and focus your colleagues using great listening skills, your influence, and crisp, effective communication.

The compensation for this position ranges from $120,750.00 - $251,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
