Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will lead the New Glenn execution of external customer contracts. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of New Glenn launch vehicle development.

Passion for our mission and vision is required!Responsibilities:Led both internal and external technical projects from proposal through completionWork closely with launch operations and launch systems groups to ensure the successful integration of payload requirements:Primary point of contact for mission integration and launch contractsIntegration of customer requirements and development of mission Interface Control DocumentProgram leadership to ensure payload system requirement validation and implementation with the technical teamsInterface with external customers through the mission integration phase and ensuring excellent customer experienceManage large complex tasks and diverse teamsManagement of regulatory requirements such as FAA/ITAR/RangeSupport Business Development interactions with external customers leading to mission integration and launch contractsLead spacecraft integration and launch contracts ensuring Blue Origin commitments are met on time, on budget, and with successIntegrate customer requirements into New Glenn development and launch servicesLead all payload-to-launch vehicle integration meetings and mission readiness reviewsParticipate in proposal and contract developmentDevelop resource-loaded mission Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and coordinate progress with customerMinimum Qualifications:B.S. in Engineering field10+ years managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paced, aerospace projects5+ years of industry experience in launch system or satellite operationsAbility to travel within the U.S. and abroadMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Preferred Qualifications:Top Secret clearance with current SSBI & SCI Eligibility, preferredExceptional leadership, organizational, team building, and people management skillsExperience in the development of launch vehiclesExperience in working with government customers
