We are now looking for a system software engineer for automotive. Come join our incredible Android software platform team that designs and builds industry-leading technologies for automotive infotainment products. You should have a proven track record of strong software development experiences including design documentation, quick prototyping, code review, build process, and test automation while leading the activities, communication, and teamwork vital for successful product releases.
What You’ll Be Doing
While working in the agile team, you will deep dive into Android system software stacks which interact with the whole Android platform and NVIDIA DRIVE OS stacks for automotive.You will enjoy your daily work as a software engineer, designing, implementing, and debugging Android kernel and system software running on top of NVIDIA CPU and GPU technologies.Contribute to performance engineering is crucial in ensuring the best user experiences.
What We Need To See
In-depth expertise on Linux kernel internals (CPU scheduling, memory management, file systems, I/O systems, and virtualization).Strong skills in bootloader, device trees, kernel drivers, SoC bringup, and system boot.Deep understanding of both hardware and software of embedded ARM systems and power/thermal management.Hands-on experience with system-wide performance profiling tools and perf data tracing.Rich experience in Android native and system component development and debugging.Excellent C/C++, ARM/x86 assembly, and Python programming skills.5+ years of experience in software development teams.BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.Proactive and able to work efficiently across different functional teams.

Contribution to Linux kernel or other open source projects.Experience in automotive software platform development.Background with display, graphics, and media stacks.Experience in productization of large-scale end-user devices.

The base salary range is 144,000 USD - 270,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
