INTRODUCTION
Workplace Solutions Architects work within the IT & P Enterprise Technology Solutions organization to help define and maintain technology guidelines across the organization. They also help build roadmaps, current state and target state definitions relevant to various technology platforms (incorporating input from Domain Architects), and consistent principles in line with enterprise architecture guidelines. They serve as a strategic partner and liaison in translating business needs into the enterprise architecture landscape.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Workplace Solutions Architects work across the organization to ensure consistency of enterprise architectural principles; processes, tools and standards; and technology roadmaps.
Your key responsibilities:
Support the Workplace Solutions Lead in defining and managing DuPont’s End User Compute technical landscape, technology strategy, and architecture by analyzing functional requirements, generating solutions, and estimating cost/benefits of different options.
Engage with engineers, project managers, and business process analysts to drive changes in workplace technology platforms and high-level solution architecture.
Lead design reviews to assess solution architectures proposed by engineers.
Follow functional direction from architects to ensure technical solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards and principles.
Evaluate implementation plans including tracking mechanisms and exit criteria.
Provide solutions to architecture-related roadblocks during implementation.
Support the creation and propagation of architectural standards and guidelines, including key learnings from past solution implementations.
Ensure consistency of architectural principles across systems and applications.
Develop processes, tools, and standards to be followed for solution development.
Support broader Enterprise Architecture processes (e.g., Architecture Review Board).
Leverage input from Domain Architects to build and refresh technology roadmaps.
Drive innovation thought leadership by assessing emerging technologies and appropriately recommending adoption within the enterprise.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and lead Domain Architects to implement such improvements to further project delivery success and implementation efficiency.
Build partnerships and work collaboratively across global teams to meet shared objectives.
Partner effectively with externally-contracted vendor resources.
Proven expertise with technologies and tools used throughout the End User Compute domain.
Experience in application development, systems integration, SaaS, PaaS, or similar.
Knowledge of enterprise systems and applications, including, but not limited to, Microsoft enterprise systems and Virtual Desktop architecture.
