https://blog.aboutamazon.com/Key job responsibilitiesWrite high-quality, efficient, testable code in Java and other object-oriented languages.Build large-scale, highly-available distributed systems that can grow 10x every 3 years.Build new anomaly detection algorithms to detect and eliminate billing inaccuracies and help customers control costs.Collaborate with AWS teams and build the software and services that simplifies their growing billing needs.Own and operate the systems that you build based on real-time customer data and demanding service-level agreements.Contribute planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of a Scrum team.About The TeamAt AWS Metering we build the services and features that enables event-metering, storage-metering, derived metering for AWS, etc. We also build one of the largest big-data processing pipelines in Amazon and continuously improve its scale and efficiency. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
