Job DescriptionA physician-owned and physician-led, multi-specialty group is actively recruiting a pediatric neuropsychologist to join our robust Behavioral Health team. The Clinic has a 70+ year tradition of providing exceptional care to the residents of Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley.
Specific Duties
Provide outpatient neurocognitive evaluation and consultation services for children and adolescents presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders, neurocognitive disorders, and other medical/neurological disorders.
Specialize in using assessment data to diagnose and make treatment recommendations.
Possess an understanding of various neurological conditions, fluency with medical nomenclature, and work effectively with patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
Liaison with pediatricians, specialty teams, and school personnel to meet existing needs of patients and their families.
Education and/or Experience (Requirements)
Oregon Licensed Psychologist (PsyD, PhD) or eligibility for Oregon licensure.
Two-year post-doctoral training (or equivalent experience) in pediatric neuropsychology.
Commitment to evidence-based practice.
Possess the attitudes and skills necessary for team building and effective communication about neurobehavioral and neurocognitive presentations and how these impact treatment.
Adaptable to the pace and culture of collaborative care within a multi-specialty clinic.
Board certification or board eligible preferred. Whereas board-certification is not required at the time of hire, the applicant would be supported in taking steps to obtain board certification.
