They are looking to hire a high performing directors or VPs of sales with experience leading teams at high growth top tier SaaS startups. Our client is verticalizing the $100b+ short-term rental industry. They independently operate each step of the home rental process, including booking, smart home technology, home management, and even the homes themselves, creating an unmatched guest experience.Their mission is to help people find their happy place. Their vision is to create the infrastructure for people to experience the world. Their home operations team is the link between both ideas and the unit that brings their homes to life through maintenance, upgrades, and smart home technology.Location:

US (Remote)Qualifications:Experience with hiring and letting go employees.Extensive experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry or a related field.Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, set clear goals, and drive performance.Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base and market share.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.Strong analytical skills to assess sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Capacity to address challenges and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.Experience in recruiting, training, and managing sales professionals to ensure a high-performing team.Commitment to understanding customer needs and providing excellent service to drive customer satisfaction and retention.Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable results.A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required. A master's degree may be preferred in some cases.Willingness to travel as needed.Preferably closed deals over $500k.In This Role, You Will:Collaborate with the executive team and the board to develop sales strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.Plan and forecast sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and meet or exceed sales targets.Build and maintain relationships with key clients, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts and agreements.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and effectiveness.Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall company strategies.Develop and manage the sales department budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost control.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
