We also want a fun personality that enjoys getting results.Job Summary:Selkirk Sport, a leading manufacturer of high-quality pickleball equipment, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Director to join our team in Coeur d'Alene. As the Creative Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative direction of our brand, ensuring that our visual identity aligns with our company values and resonates with our target audience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for design and a proven track record of leading creative teams to success.Responsibilities:Brand Strategy and Development:
Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
Creative Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of creative professionals, including two Creative Designers.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages the development of unique and compelling creative solutions.
Campaign Conceptualization and Execution:
Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that effectively communicate brand messages and drive engagement.Oversee the development of marketing collateral, advertising materials, and digital assets.
Product Design Oversight:
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that product designs align with the overall brand aesthetic and resonate with the target audience.Provide creative direction for packaging design and product branding.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends and conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation.Integrate insights into the creative process to keep the brand at the forefront of the market.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of creative excellence and ensure that all creative outputs meet brand guidelines and quality standards.
Leadership of Creative Designers:
Provide mentorship and guidance to two Creative Designers within the team.Collaborate with designers to foster their professional development and ensure alignment with overall creative goals.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Demonstrate a hands-on approach by actively participating in the day-to-day design process, particularly during product launches, busy periods, and other critical phases.Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar creative leadership role.Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful creative campaigns and projects.Excellent leadership and team management skills.In-depth knowledge of design principles, branding, and marketing trends.Experience in the sports or outdoor industry is a plus.Proficient in industry-standard design software.Exceptional communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into creative solutions.If you are a creative visionary with a passion for building and elevating brands, we invite you to join Selkirk Sport and play a key role in shaping the future of pickleball equipment.
