Financial Reporting, Account Manager
is responsible for managing the review and the preparation of financial statement reporting deliverables, adhering to established timelines and protocols. Account Managers are also responsible for:Interacting and advising as a source of technical support for fund accounting groups and clients in the preparation, review, and delivery of year-end and interim financial statements.Acting as the primary liaison with clients and their audit, legal, and other third-party vendors via audit planning calls, ongoing status calls, and year-end board meetings.Maintaining a strong control environment through updating procedures, internal templates, review checklists, and training materials for new accounting pronouncements.Qualifications and ExperienceFour to six years of financial reporting experience in mutual funds, hedge funds, or private equity funds.Knowledge of AICPA Audit and Accounting Guide for Investment Companies; Accounting Standard Updates and Codifications,
such as ASC 815 and ASC 820.Proficiency acting as a primary liaison with clients and their audit, legal, and other third-party service providers—from planning audits through issues resolution.Experience with Advent Geneva accounting software
