In everything we do, we seek to make a real difference to the communities in which we operate.The Legal Recruiting team focuses on recruiting law students and lateral attorneys.The Senior Coordinator will coordinate talent acquisition initiatives and activities for law student, lateral associate and business services recruiting in the Washington, DC office. Work closely with the US Recruiting Team, Recruiting Committee and local Silicon Valley office leadership to attract and retain talented attorneys and business services professionals.Key responsibilities and deliverablesStudent RecruitingSupport the firm’s US law school outreach strategy – work closely with the US recruiting team to ensure the firm is well represented at law schools across the countryCoordinate law student screening and callback interviews, collect interview feedbackWork closely with the recruiting committee with respect to Summer Program offer decisions, managing yield on offers and assembling a summer class that represents a diverse array of law schools and individualsMaintain applicant tracking systemSummer ProgramCoordinate the planning of the annual summer associate program including an eclectic events and training calendarCoordinate logistics for planning and executing social eventsOversee the Summer offer process in close coordination with the Recruiting CommitteeServe as a trusted resource to all Summer Associates before, during, and after their time at the firmLateral RecruitingCollect and review candidate materials and distribute to hiring managers across practice areas as appropriateCoordinate interview logistics including but not limited to sending confirmation emails, calendaring meetings, setting up video links and/or making conference room reservations, preparation of materialsConduct interview follow-up, request and distribute feedback from interviewersCoordinate lateral onboarding in tandem with the greater Firm HR teamMaintain applicant tracking system for lateral candidatesDevelop and maintain relationships with local external recruiting professionalsBusiness Services RecruitingLiaise with the Business Services Recruiting Manager to support all business services hiring activity in the Washington, DC office.Other duties as neededServe as the recruiting specialist in the Washington, DC office, greet and shepherd candidates throughout interviews and office visitsRespond to questions and requests from candidates, summer associates, attorneys, colleagues in other business service departments and external vendorsMonitor budget, expenses and reimbursementsTravel as needed, projects as assignedKey requirements (Communication/skills/experience)Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environmentPossesses the ability to work independently and be proactiveStrong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Must be a team player and exercise good judgmentExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsSuperior organizational skills and have strong attention to detailMust exhibit a high energy level, be able to work under pressure and have a professional demeanorThe ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretionAble to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
