The Renewals Engineering Team is a dedicated and forward-thinking unit committed to revolutionizing the renewal process. Their primary goals include significantly increasing the renewal rate and ensuring a seamless, hassle-free experience for our clients. By integrating advanced technologies and data analytics, this team excels in crafting personalized insurance solutions that adapt to the evolving cyber security landscape. Their expertise is instrumental in not only accurately assessing risks but also in proactively addressing clients' needs. With a strong emphasis on client satisfaction and operational efficiency, the Renewals Engineering Team plays a crucial role in solidifying our firm's position as a leader in cyber insurance services.ResponsibilitiesBuild out high quality APIs and web services providing a scalable, efficient and tailored set of interfaces.Design, document and deploy public interfaces that are a joy to consume.Work with cross functional stakeholders including product, design, sales, and others to help break down business requirements into actionable plans.Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to develop and deliver applications in a repeatable, stable and joyful software development lifecycle.Make Coalition a better place by taking on the unseen, unforeseen and important items that come up along the way.Skills And QualificationsAPI and Service Development in Go and/or Python: Fundamental knowledge in developing APIs and services using Python or Go is essential.Cloud-Native Development Fundamentals: Understanding of production-tested cloud-native development, including horizontal scaling and 12-factor application design. Knowledge of security fundamentals such as OWASP is crucial.Source Control: Proficiency in using source control tools like Git, SVN, or Perforce.Agile Team Collaboration: Experience working with an agile team and using collaborative development tools such as the Atlassian Suite, GitHub, or GitLab.Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $110,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
