Directs, coaches, and develops the warehouse staff to obtain short term & long-term goals. Responsible for developing, evaluating, and enforcing warehouse policies and procedures. Ensure all inventory is properly stored in an efficient, orderly, and compliant manner. Evaluate space requirements and determine future needs based on business demand. Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying improvement opportunities in receiving, shipping, and other warehouse processes. Collaborate with functional leads to drive improvements that affect the warehouse. Optimize space and process flow for greater efficiency and inventory capacity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned:Oversee all warehousing, shipping, receiving, and material movement activities including satellite facilities.Responsible for business, quality, and safety issues as they pertain to Warehouse activities.Serve as the Primary contact for Warehouse related business issues. Provide direction and expectations to the warehouse staff as they support Production, Business Units, and other internal groups. Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Audit areas to ensure safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Establish a culture of continuous improvement with regard to safety, quality and cost.Drive and participate in improvement projects. Communicate with other department leaders to ensure internal customer satisfaction.Provide career development support for the Warehouse team by helping them assess their skills and identify development objectives.Participate in performance feedback, coaching and counseling activities.Maintain compliance with cGMP, SOP, and other regulatory agencies such as FDA, MHRA, DEA and Foreign Trade Zone requirements.Observe the work of the warehouse staff for exactness, neatness and conformance to established policies and procedures. Ensure all warehouse areas are in good repair and in an inspection readiness state.Manage inventory accuracy by ensuring complete cycle counts on a monthly basis, approving inventory adjustments and dispositions, and monitoring JDE to ensure real-time data entry occurs.Design the layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering factors for items stored such as turnover, size, weight, and related factors.Ensure Warehouse employees are trained and authorized per OSHA requirements and receive appropriate safety and equipment training. Ensure the warehouse staff uses equipment properly in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock.Develop, implement and approve departmental SOP’s and Work Practices. Interact with other functional departments to define plans, yearly goals and budgets.Establish Warehouse Department and individual goals and objectives in alignment with site goals and customer requirements.Perform the duties of the Warehouse Manager in his/her absence. Ensure the warehouse teams are harmonizing with customers, carriers, shipments and logistics.This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules. Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
