Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do: Represent Client and lead inspection team to assure a quality-built highway construction project. Assure roadway plans, DOT specifications, bridge construction standards and QC plans are adhered to. Meet with the Department Project Engineer/ Manager/ Supervisor daily to discuss project schedule. Ensure completion of daily Project Sight Activity reports and use specified Applications to track and document contractor’s work. Lead daily safety meetings with other field staff. Qualifications
What you bring to our firm: Associate Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology. BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred. Ten years or more of highway construction inspection, management, and/or design experience. Registered Professional Engineer (PE). NECEPT Asphalt, ACI/PennDOT Concrete, NICET certifications. Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
