ABOUT THE POSITIONOur New England transportation team is looking for a

Project Manager - Structures

to work on large, complex transport and related projects across the VHB footprint. This role will allow for location flexibility for the right person.Responsibilities

Lead pursuits of major bridge and other transportation projectsAssist in preparation of qualification packages, proposals and other marketing materialsManage major bridge and other large/complex transportation projectsProvide project management support/mentorship to other project managersProvide technical support/mentorship to structural engineering staffPerform oversight of engineering design for bridges and other transportation infrastructurePrepare construction documents, including plans, specifications, estimates and calculationsPerform quality assurance reviews of project construction documents, engineering reports, etc.Skills and Attributes

Self-motivated with excellent attention to detailAutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation experienceMust possess strong project management and technical skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsFamiliarity with bridge design and detailing (steel, concrete, prestressed concrete) and seismic analysisFamiliarity with structural engineering software (AASHTOware, LARSA 4D, MDX, midas Bridge, Mathcad, etc.)Qualifications

8+ years of professional bridge design/transportation related experienceB.S. Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred) (1-2 years may be substituted for a master's degree)Master's degree a plusPE license requiredWe are VHB!
