As a full-stack engineer, you will work with your team to help enhance the incident analysis experience for PagerDuty customers. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong full-stack experience and a passion for growing their career.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will utilize best practices in software engineering to architect, code, test, and deploy high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and adhere to internal standards.Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver features on time and within scope.With 20,000+ global customers and growing, you’ll be solving really interesting technical challenges while helping to scale our product to keep up with demand.You will participate in your team’s on-call rotation, triaging and addressing production issues as they arise.Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the stability and performance of integrated solutions.Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Basic QualificationsYou have 2+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer working on customer-facing applications.You are proficient with at least one of the following programming languages and frameworks: Javascript / NodeJS, TypeScript / React, Python, Ruby / Rails, or Java.You have experience writing unit or integration tests, using continuous integration / delivery, and operating production services.Preferred QualificationsYou have a demonstrated ability to think through problems and design and deliver solutions that effectively balance trade-offs.You have worked with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure.You have experience working at a SaaS company larger than 1000 employees and 100M in revenue.You have built or consumed GraphQL APIs using Apollo (server / client).You have managed schema and data with relational databases like MySQL.You have been on-call for services in the past, and are familiar with incident response and / or post incident investigation best practices.The base salary range for this position is 117,000 - 184,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.PagerDuty currently has offices in Atlanta, Lisbon, London, San Francisco, Santiago, Sydney, Tokyo, and Toronto.
