Learn what makes QTS a unique place to grow your career!Corporate Counsel supports the company’s legal operations in a variety of matters, with a focus that includes general corporate matters, regulatory and compliance matters, insurance, vendor contract negotiations, internal corporate policies and procedures, along with drafting and negotiating other transactional matters.Responsibilities, other duties as assigned:

Overseeing general corporate legal mattersNegotiating and drafting customer and vendor contracts as well as various other transactional mattersAssisting with legal and regulatory complianceAssisting with compliance with various domestic and international privacy lawsAssisting with the company’s data security programAssisting with management of the Company’s insurance program and operationsAssisting with a variety of other legal functions such as loans, joint ventures, acquisitions, construction, real estate, intellectual property protection, tax abatements, litigation, etc.Managing collections on customer accountsPerforming a broad range of legal matters and general business matters based on the needs of the company, as assigned.Working with and managing outside counsel, counterparties, insurers, and other third parties as neededBasic Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentialsAdmission to the Bar of a U.S. state or the District of ColumbiaThree or more years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer working in a general corporate transactional practicePreferred Qualifications:

Experience with project finance and/or asset-based lendingKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:
