About the Role & Team
Disney’s Direct to Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, helping to bring The Walt Disney Company’s best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.The Disney+ Global Content Programming and Subscriber Engagement team is responsible for leading content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights that contribute to a cohesive strategic content approach for the service.What You Will DoThe Content Planning Manager, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Content Planning, will oversee daily tracking of Disney+ slate updates and collaborate with teams across Finance, Operations, Studios, Networks, and international Programming to ensure alignment and process adherence. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter with a collaborative mindset.ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day tracking of slate updates within the content planning lifecycle, coordinating with key stakeholders (including executives).
Partner with internal teams to monitor and communicate programming intent for the content slate.
Supportthe Sr. Manager with special ad hoc projects related to the function, such as creating frameworks and processes to scale global slate planning.
Prepare summaries, presentations, and status reports for key stakeholders and executives.
Required Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 3 years of experience in digital media and entertainment, focusing on content strategy, slate management, content curation, and/or project management.
Experience with content planning tools; Airtable preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Diplomatic mindset with proven teamwork abilities in matrixed organizations.
Effectively manage multiple demands and priorities for self and others.
Strong emotional intelligence and collaborative spirit.
Quickly adapt to new technologies and thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Collaborate with others to solve problems and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
Produce polished and clear documents for internal stakeholders.
Preferred QualificationsProficiency in Airtable, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets preferred.
SVOD or Linear TV experience a plus.

EducationBachelor’s degree
The hiring range for this position in CA is $84,500.00 to $113,300.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.#J-18808-Ljbffr
