As Enterprise Director of Sales at Fiberlight, you will direct, coordinate, and own the sales activities in Fiberlight markets. Managing a team dedicated to fiber growth and ensuring your market meets or exceeds sales, penetration and revenue objectives.Essential Job Functions
Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.Build and manage a sales team, including setting targets and performance goals, providing mentoring, development opportunities, and conducting performance evaluations.Responsible for business KPI tracking and management, business case development, process development and implementation.Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key stakeholders within targeted accounts.Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create and execute sales and marketing campaigns.Maintain a thorough understanding of the telecom market and competitor activities and use this knowledge to inform sales and marketing strategies.Track and report on sales performance via Salesforce and provide regular updates to senior leadership.Maintain proactive line of communication with other cross-functional leaders as well as senior leadership, includes developing and delivering accurate forecast and attainment details during weekly and other regular updates.Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and build relationships with potential clients and partners.Motivate the team by conducting consistent sales meetings and challenging all to excel in their region through the creation of a competitive atmosphere, managing quota, and measurements of success.Help AMs identify key opportunities for network expansion, and building case/sales funnel to pursue opportunity.Requirements
5+ years of sales experience in telecom or related field, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.Strong knowledge of the IT industry, including current trends and market dynamics.Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to travel domestically as needed (expect up to 30 to 40% travel).Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or equivalent work experience.Other Skills/Abilities
Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases).Strong executive presence and ability to develop executive-level (CxO) relationships and lead strategic initiatives with customers.Highly proficient using MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Highly productive and prioritizes multiple tasks.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach.Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.Must have visual acuity.Must be able to lift 0-25 pounds.
