Travel Surgical Technician - OR/ Peri Operative FloatHours:
40 weekly, 5x8 hour shifts
Shifts:
Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
On call:
e/o 2-3 weekdays 3:30pm-7:30am and 48 hours every 2-3 weekends (7:30 AM Saturday to 7:30 AM Monday). Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes from the time called.

13 weeks

Our client is looking for a full-time, day shift (7:00am-3:30pm) Operating Room Tech who is empathetic and has good communication skills. We have a collaborative culture focused on positive outcomes, opportunities for professional growth, and so much more. Our OR/Surg Tech duties include but are not limited to:
Responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure.
Maintaining sterile field during case.
Providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures.
Able to work well under stressful and emergency situations.
Able to act quickly and accurately.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
Graduate of an ORT training program or on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties (i.e., GYN, General, and Plastics).
Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Urology, etc.).
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
