We encourage candidates with diverse lived experience and perspectives from underrepresented communities to apply.Job Summary:This is a hands-on position that completes all aspects of recruitment, interviewing, and salary negotiating for any given position across our national footprint, as well as the hiring and onboarding processes. This position is being offered as a time-limited contract position for up to 6 months and is required to be on site at our Seattle, WA Headquarters.Essential Responsibilities:Conduct full-cycle recruitment process including requisition approval, intake and pre-planning, prescreening of candidates, coordination of selection process, and onboarding for Casey Family Programs regular, contract time-limited, and contingent employees.Ensure internal processes are adhered to by hiring managers and candidates have a positive experience. Advise hiring managers and implement recruiting strategies designed to identify and qualify the strongest candidates. Manage and maintain applicant tracking system.Post job descriptions in various advertising outlets including LinkedIn and niche job boards to continually search for creative ways to find the best talent.Conduct reference checks and pre-employment background checks.Lead, with partnership from HR and Organizational Development colleagues, the onboarding process and ensure new hire compliance is met in accordance with requirements.Participate in the development of ongoing creative sourcing strategies to attract a broader pool of corporate candidates.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2+ years recruiting experience required.Experience in a non-profit setting preferred.Certifications in HR, and/or SPHR/PHR considered a plus.Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of a diverse workforce required.Strong listening, negotiating, and communication skills that foster trust in the candidates and management are required.The ability to build relationships, understand group and organizational dynamics, and plan appropriate recruitment efforts is essential.Ability to protect the confidentiality of sensitive information by learning and following all relevant policies and protocols and using sound judgment in the handling and sharing of that information.Physical requirements include the ability to lift and reach for light objects; close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, text, and figures; ability to type utilizing a computer keyboard; ability to travel to outside locations; and the ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time as a primary job function. Driving on Casey business may require use of personal vehicle; adherence to vehicle safety guidelines and qualification for insurance is required.Casey Family Programs requires a COVID-19 vaccination for in-person work. Therefore, all employees will be required to present proof of vaccination status unless they qualify for a medical or religious exemption.This position is based at our Seattle office and required to be onsite 5 days a week in person.The base salary for this role is $78,000 to $91,000 annually. Depending on the length of the contract, this position may be benefits eligible. Casey Family Programs offers benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, health and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts, eligibility for 403(b) retirement plans, disability, basic life, employee assistance plan and business travel insurance. Additionally, employees are eligible to accrue paid time off, starting at 8 hours per month of annual leave and 8 hours of sick time per month in the first year of employment. Casey Family Programs also observes 10 paid holidays per year and each employee receives one personal holiday to use each calendar year. Employees that meet certain tenure qualifiers are eligible for up to eight weeks of parental leave for the birth or placement of a child for adoption or foster care. After the completion of 10 years of continuous, full-time employment, employees in good standing are eligible for a three-month sabbatical with pay.
