Key Responsibilities
Supports the HR Director with major focus on employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, performance management, and other HR functions.Manages, mentors, provides guidance, and delegates tasks effectively to the HR Assistant. Collaborates with HR Assistant to handle HR related questions from employees, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HR Director. Oversees HR Assistant for onboarding, new hire orientation, exit interviews, org-charts, and report running.Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource talent programs including performance management, coaching, and compensation.Works closely with practice leaders and Office Manager Partner in the Long Island Office to support employee needs and office initiatives.Serves as the main point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.Leads employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in conjunction with the HR Director for highly sensitive matters.Partners in the recruiting process with the Talent Acquisition Team: facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with practice leaders and office managing partners to understand skills and competencies required.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Performs other duties as assigned to support the HR Director needs and needs of the business.Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience.Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.This role will require 2-3 days in the office minimum a week.About Citrin Cooperman
