The position provides oversight of all substance abuse disorder services, prevention through aftercare (including alumni services) and provides clinical supervision to substance use disorder program staff. Maintains good customer relations, develops new business opportunities, monitors adherence to budgets, and ensures contract compliance. Learns, uses and models principles of the "What Works" system through evidence-based practices in all interactions with clients and other staff members.Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitates delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in a group setting focusing on the areas of motivation for change, social adjustment, personal management, social skills development, cognitive restructuring, and development of problem-solving skills.Participates in orientation of participant regarding all behavioral treatment programs including, but not limited to, T4C, Anger Management and Life Skills.The ability to facilitate and/or co-facilitate group counseling from a structured manual.Assists in the coordination of participant program schedules to ensure the criminogenic needs of the participants are met.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Minimum RequirementsHigh School diploma or its equivalent, and minimum two (2) years of experience working in the counseling or chemical addictions field; orAn Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's degree, in any unrelated area of study from an accredited academic institution and one (1) year of experience in the counseling or chemical addictions field preferred; orBachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution in any of the social sciences and six (6) months of experience working in counseling or chemical addictions field.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Relevant teaching or counseling experience in a correctional setting preferred.Possess a thorough understanding of the Principles of Effective Intervention that empirical evidence has proven to successfully reduce recidivism.Must possess the ability to work with a team of professionals and have the ability to implement team strategy approaches to work assignments.Must be flexible, cooperative and empathetic to needs of staff and participants.Excellent oral and written communication skills.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERGEO Reentry Services LLC.
