The successful candidate must be highly professional, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment while advancing their practice.Duties:Represent clients in state and federal courts, handling all phases of litigation from inception to resolution.Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and arguments.Manage case files and maintain accurate and organized records of all proceedings.Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials, providing legal counsel and representation.Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide updates on case progress.Develop and implement litigation strategies in conjunction with senior attorneys.Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in a manner favorable to clients.Stay current with legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.Requirements:Admitted to practice law in state and federal courts.3-5 years of general litigation experience.Experience in insurance defense, civil rights defense, and municipal and commercial litigation is preferred.Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and meet deadlines.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admitted to the state bar and federal courts where the firm operates.Skills:Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.Strong research and analytical abilities.Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Professional demeanor with a commitment to ethical practice.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to case management and client relations.
