23WD74210Autodesk ACS (Autodesk Construction Solutions) R&D team is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual to join its SRE/ DevOps team, to strengthen the infra and operation-ability of its Docs platform, which powers ACS products for its world-wide customers.As Autodesk transitions to the cloud, our value comes from building and scaling reliable and trusted cloud services. This is a remote position on the west coast.Responsibilities:

Working with the development team for designing the system architecture for application deployment on multi environmentsYou will develop tools for monitoring various web services and online productsYou will manage different applications deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS and Autodesk ECSAvailability and disaster recovery management for different applicationsYou will improve security policy and process of web and cloud based applicationsRequirements:

BS or MS in computer science or a related fieldStrong background in Linux/Unix Administration3+ years’ experience with automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Chef or an equivalentStrong experience with SQL and MySQL/PostgreSQLNoSQL experience is a plus, too.Strong scripting skills in at least one common language (Ruby / Python / Golang)Familiar with one or two of those web infrastructure techniques (Rails / Django / Express)Familiar with one or two of those monitoring tools (Netdata / Prometheus / Grafana)Knowledge of AWS is a mustIn order to comply with U.S. Export Controls requirements, this role must be filled by a U.S. Person (as defined under the International Traffic In Arms (“ITAR”) (22 CFR part 120.15) including: 1) a U.S. citizen (whether born or naturalized); 2) a lawful permanent resident of the United States (e.g., “green card” holders); or 3) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (e.g., foreign persons such as refugees and asylees who are protected persons and considered U.S. persons for export control purposes).About Autodesk
