NM procedures are performed in the NM section of the Radiology Department. This position must be well versed in the principles of radiation safety so that radioisotopes are prepared and administered in a safe manner. The NM tech must also be proficient in using PACS and teleradiology and possess good communication skills to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and coworkers.This position may also perform other related tasks such as assisting and transporting patients, performing data entry for exam tracking and dose management, managing supplies, and other departmental duties as assigned.Requirements:PET Experience a PlusGraduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology programMust possess a current NJ State licenseARRT and/or NMTCB certificationBLS certification requiredExperience: Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist preferredRWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer
