We have been engaged by one of our clients to recruit a dual modality
CT / X-Ray Technologist
to join their dynamic team in Florida.
Description:
This position will provide high-quality diagnostic radiology services to patients in a timely and efficient manner. In addition to assisting the Radiologists and Primary Physicians by obtaining the best possible radiographs for interpretation, the CT Technologist is also responsible for keeping up on changing protocols in both x-ray and CT and helping their co-workers learn the new protocols.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited/approved school
Current FL Radiologic Technology license
ARRT Certification
Current BLS certification
Knowledge of x-ray equipment and related technology
Responsibilities:
Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.
