Qualifications:
Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Technology program
American Heart Association BLS certification
Ability to perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound examinations
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
What you will do:
Preparing patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging.
Operating ultrasound equipment to capture images of various parts of the body, such as the abdomen, pelvis, heart, blood vessels, and fetal development during pregnancy.
Analyzing the images to identify any abnormalities or potential health concerns.
Maintaining accurate records of patient procedures and results.
Ensuring that the equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate results.
