This position will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Dept with a variety of financial activities including forecasting, budgeting, building financial models, supporting month end close process, as well as ad hoc reporting as needed. A strong background in Excel is required and strong interpersonal skills will be needed as this role will interact with all levels within the organization.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

In coordination with the entire F&A team, this position is responsible for adherence to the Division’s accounting principles, procedures, practices, reporting and compliance requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP.Assist in month end close process preparing any needed reporting or reconciliations.Support FP&A Manager with weekly/monthly operational reporting.Take lead on developing and monitoring KPI’s across multiple divisions within the company.Support the preparation and evaluation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial operating reports.Prepare and evaluate analysis based on contract performance and Divisional operating results.Prepare various weekly/monthly reporting including (but not limited to) DSO, Weekly OT reporting, and monthly AR reporting.Prepare and Review month end journal entries related to FP&A responsibilities.Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.Act as back up to FP&A Manager when needed.Performing research and analysis as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3-5 years of financial experience and has demonstrated career path of increasing responsibility. Prefer a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry. An advanced designation is a definite plus. Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and strong computer literacy. A strong proficiency in Excel is required. Must be able to think creatively but be a detail-oriented person. A self-starter with high energy and the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively. Some travel will be required.Job Type:
